Itinerary 

Day 01: Semera – Hamed Ela

Your journey begins with a Transit flight from Addis Ababa to Semera. Upon arrival, you will embark on a five-to-six-hour drive through the Afar region to Hamed Ela. Along the way, you will make a stop at the stunning Lake Afdera, a natural salt lake with warm waters, perfect for a refreshing swim. Here, you will also enjoy lunch while soaking in the surreal landscape.

As the journey continues, you will head towards the camping village of Hamed Ela, a gateway to the Danakil Depression’s incredible geological wonders. In the evening, you will visit Lake Asale, a vast expanse of salt flats, where the setting sun casts a golden glow over the crystalline formations. The tranquil surroundings provide a perfect opportunity to relax with a glass of wine or beer while taking in the breathtaking scenery.

Day 2: Dalol – Erta Ale (Volcano)
After breakfast, you will drive to the fascinating Dalol Depression, one of the lowest points on Earth at 125 meters below sea level. This unique region is renowned for its striking, multicolored mineral formations, created by intense volcanic activity and hydrothermal reactions. You will explore the surreal landscapes of Dalol, visit Lake Assal, and witness camel caravans transporting blocks of salt mined from the earth in a centuries-old tradition.

Following your visit to Dalol, you will continue on a four-hour drive towards Erta Ale, a shield volcano that stands as one of Ethiopia’s most alluring and physically demanding natural attractions. The journey takes you across a changing terrain of solidified lava fields and desert sands, passing through small Afar settlements along the way.

Upon arrival at the Erta Ale campsite, you will take a short break and have an early dinner before embarking on a one-hour trek to the volcano’s summit. Under the dark night sky, you will witness the hypnotic display of molten lava churning within the crater, a sight that few places on Earth can offer. After spending time at the rim, you will return to the campsite to sleep under the stars, surrounded by the raw beauty of this volcanic wonder.

Day 03: Erta Ale – Semera
Before dawn, you will have the opportunity to visit the boiling lava lake once more, watching as the fiery glow contrasts against the early morning sky. After capturing this final breathtaking view, you will return to the campsite for breakfast before beginning your journey back to Semera.

The return trip includes a two-hour drive to Afdera, followed by a three-and-a-half-hour drive along an asphalt road to Semera Airport. Along the way, you will have time to reflect on the incredible experiences of the past few days, as you prepare for your departure back to Addis Ababa.

Day 04 : Fly Addis Abeba – Gonder

The day trip to Gondar from Addis Ababa by flight offers a packed itinerary to explore its main attractions. The tour typically includes the Royal Enclosure (Fasil Gibhi), Debre Birhan Selasie Church, and other key sites.

Day 05: Drive From Gonder – to seimen mountain national park

This Day early we can drive we can packed our food from our hotel we can have on our way in the road we can eat our lunch .

day trip to Simien Mountains National Park from Gondar typically involves a scenic drive to Debark, obtaining permits, and then a drive to Sankaber, where you’ll enjoy a hike and a picnic, including a visit to Jinbar Waterfall. The tour concludes with a return drive to Gondar in the evening.

Day 06: Fly Gonder – Addis Abeba

This day after flight depends your flight time we can do our day activities or you can fly back to your home in the afternoon evening time or in the middle night of the day .
