Embark on an unforgettable 14-day adventure across Ethiopia, a land of ancient civilizations, breathtaking landscapes, and vibrant cultures. This comprehensive tour takes you from the bustling capital of Addis Ababa to the mystical highlands of the north and the culturally rich lowlands of the south.

Itinerary 

Day 01 fly from addis ababa to semera

pick you at airporto drive to Erta Ale (which means smoky mountain in
Afar language). Erta Ale ranks one of the most alluring and physically challenging
natural attractions anywhere in Ethiopia. It is a shield volcano with a base diameter
of 30 km and 1km square caldera at its summit. Erta Ale contains the world’s only
permanent lava lake. It is 613 meters, with a lava lake, one of only five in the
world, at the summit. It is notable for being the longest existing lava lake, present
since the early years of the twentieth century.
Dinner will be served around 17:00 o’clock. After a short break, trek up to Ertale at
20:00 hours. Camels will be transporting all the camping materials and some food
(sleeping materials like light mattresses and mat and water) to the rim of the
volcano, where we spend the night watching the dramatic action of the boiling lava.
You will spend the night on top of the mountain, at the rim of the Volcano.

Day 02 Ertale Volcano to Hamedela

Early Morning sun rise at the northern one corresponds to the main pit crater and
walk 5 minutes for the southern and central pits could either corresponds to an
ancient pit, or to a simple collapse structure. The main pit-crater, 200 m deep and
350 m across, is sub-circular and three storied. The smaller southern pit is 65 m
wide and about 100 m deep. Descend from Erta Ale around 9 am Dodom – Leave
back to Dodom after an early breakfast, if possible, at 07:00 o’clock.
You will reach latest at 10:30 o’clock at the camp, where you will be relaxing. As
soon as possible, drive to reach the mythical Lake Giulietti (or Lake Afrera)
(optional may not be available during summer time), a salt water lake located
more than100 meters below sea level, in one of the deepest depressions of the
planet. Because of the picturesque landscape, it is interesting to visit the salt flats
where the Afar people obtain the salt by evaporating the water of the lake and
proceed Hamed Ela

Day 03: Danakil to mekelle or to semera

Morning tour Drive to Ragad (Asebo), the place where the localities are mining salt.
Look the activity of workers breaking salts from the ground, cutting in to
rectangular pieces and loading on camels. You drive ahead to Dallol and visit the
difference landscape formed by volcanic activity, Dallol + Lake Assal + camel
caravans. Excursion to Dallol (116 meter below sea level, one of the lowest places
in the world) colorful salts mining, visit Lake Assal, follow up camel caravans (No camel caravan on July, August and early September) and walk with the Afar people.then Drive directly towards to mekelle.

Take lunch in Hawzen
After the lunch drive to the unique Church of abune yemata . Rock church after the visit come back to. Hawzen . Or drive back on the way to mekelle if we have time .

Day 05 This Early morning after breakfast Drive back Hawzen to mekelle to take morning flight gonder .

This day we will visit city tour gonder we can visit fasil castle house and fasil bath and also Trinity selasie church with church of ceilings , we will hand crafts oart to around in the gonder city and we visit coffee shop place with having coffee .

Day 06 Gonder to simen mountain

This day Early morning we can drive to simen mountain to the home wildlife birds , red wolf Ethiopian (red fox) wakiya ibex and amazing views landscape with childa baboon . After spending mach time we can drive back to gonder .

Day 07 Fly Gonder to Lalibela

After we arranged our staff we can have our breakfast and we can continued to visit first group church in saint lalibela church and after lunch we can start the second group church Bet medniyalem church in lalibela .

Day 08 This Day we can before flight we will visit around lalibela some church called nakuta lab monastery church after we visited them we can drive back quickly to lalibela airport fly back to Addis abeba.

This evening time will take to amazing delicious food cultural restaurant of addis abeba with cultural dance uou will injoy and refresh uour mind and soul .

Day 09 Full Day city Tour to the capital of Addis Abeba Ethiopia .

We will visit the national museum where we can see the first human ansisiter Luis Dinkensh and we will visit unity park (entoto and around entoto Trinity cathedral church and we can test our Ethiopian delicious food and coffee .
After spending mach time end of the tour . This day evening midnight if your flight you well come or the evening or in the morning i will take process to drop you in airport addis abeba bole international airport fly out home .
